Cancer treatment such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation is decided by your oncologist. At Advait Ayurveda in Gota, Ahmedabad, Dr. Kalpit Goswami offers supportive Ayurvedic care that works alongside that treatment, never in place of it.
We do not claim to cure cancer. Our aim is to help patients feel stronger and more comfortable during and after their oncology treatment.
How supportive Ayurvedic care can help
- Appetite and digestion: simple, easily digestible diet plans for days when eating is difficult.
- Energy and sleep: daily routine (dinacharya) and gentle therapies that support rest and recovery.
- Common side-effects: guidance for dryness, mouth discomfort, constipation or acidity, given only after checking your current medicines.
- Emotional well-being: calming therapies such as Shirodhara or Abhyanga, when your oncologist agrees they are suitable.
How we work with your oncologist
At the first visit, Dr. Goswami reviews your diagnosis, reports and every medicine you take. No herbal medicine is started without checking it against your current treatment, and we encourage you to share our plan with your treating doctor. Please never stop or change any cancer treatment on your own.
